The one thing with this team is that they are a team. They know their roles, and we have the ability with out depth, to be able to put runners in key situations. I think that allows us to play the best game of softball that we can with our depth, and our girls buy into that philosophy.

The only thing I had on my mind was tennis, and sometimes girls, ... My life was all about tennis. My office was the whole world. The word home didn't really exist.

The playing conditions were not great at all, but that is not an excuse for the six errors, four hits, and 12 strikeouts. Right now, we are in a little bit of slump. Several of the girls have lost their confidence and we have to do something to help them get it back.

The playoffs are such a step up from the regular season. Every team will have a full line up and the boys should come out flying.

The playoffs are very challenging and we have a long road ahead of us. We are not guaranteed that we will win anything so the girls know we have to practice and work hard if we want to advance in the playoffs.
