The one thing you have to do is always play the game hard and people will love you. And every day, whether it was practice or on the field, he set the tone for the organization. When every young kid came up, they could see him playing hard and I think it was really an inspiration for that organization. He got them two championships. He was a great leader.

The one word that came out again and again was 'supportive.' They talked a lot about the support they're getting from the Americans who run this medical facility, the support they're getting from the Canadian military and from families back home.

The only autograph I ever got, which I do not have anymore, was Matthew Fox when he was on 'Party Of Five.' I was in high school, and he came to our local amusement park, and I stood in line and got an autograph.

The only disappointment is from my end. People will bash the manager for leaving me in there, but it came down to me not making pitches. It was personally disappointing, but a great team win.
