The prevailing thought was that it was going to be tough for our boys to come back from that. You're sitting in the stands with a four-point lead and 25 seconds left, and you're high as a kite. A few moments later, you feel like you've been punched in the stomach.

There was something special about watching a manger and umpire both convinced they were totally right, but knowing that one had to be wrong.
