The one thing we wanted to do was get them in physical condition. The mind is the first thing to go. It controls everything.

The ongoing construction of the stadium has continued at a rapid pace, and we're extremely pleased with the progress. It's projected to be done on time. But, in moving the San Jose State game to Spartan Stadium, we feel it gives us that extra week to assure ourselves that the stadium will be 100 percent ready.

The online world is not that different than the physical world. There are risks in both. We need to be able to recognize it's a threat and deal with it.

The only complaint about Monday's move is that it was on fairly narrow breadth ... but that shouldn't take away from what's been an entirely impressive run by the TSE, both this month and this year,
